JOLT uses full encryption at rest and in transit and it does not store any data on servers. The data in transit is end to end encrypted and it can be decrypted only by an arbitrary passphrase provided by the user. The development of the app then moved for an public audience as well to manage journaling and tasks although the potential for managing cybersecurity incidents is the main objective.
